Managing with the Enneagram
The same feedback produces a useful rethink in one person and a month of withdrawal in another. One day to recognise your profile, read your team's, and stop managing everyone as if they wanted what you want.

What you will be able to do
- Know the 9 bases of the Enneagram
- Know your own personality base in the Enneagram
- Know the base of each of your direct reports
- Give feedback adapted to each personality base
- Adapt your delegation to each base
- Motivate each person according to their personality

What is the Enneagram?
A method for studying personality based on nine patterns of behaviour. It is a tool for knowing yourself better and, in a management context, for understanding what drives the people you lead.
One day: your profile, the nine readings, and what each one expects from a manager.
Managing a team you cannot rebuild
The case for individual management is stronger in a small market. A Mauritian manager usually leads between eight and twenty people, recruited from a pool where the same names circulate, and has no realistic option of replacing someone who does not respond.
Reaching the one person you have never managed to reach is therefore worth a day. That is the whole use of the model here: fewer generalities, more of the person actually in front of you.
Questions about this training
Do I need to have followed a management training first?
It is strongly recommended. This day assumes the fundamentals are in place and works on tailoring them. Without that base, it is interesting rather than useful.
Is the Enneagram scientifically validated?
It is a model, not a measurement, and that is said clearly during the day. Its value here is practical: it gives a manager nine workable hypotheses about motivation, to test with the person rather than to apply to them.
What does it change day to day?
The way you brief, give feedback and recognise work. The same message is not received the same way depending on what drives the person, and one day is enough to stop using a single register for everyone.
Is it useful in a multicultural team?
Yes, and it is one of its clearest uses in Mauritius. The model separates temperament from background, which avoids attributing to a community a behaviour that belongs to the individual.

The manager-leader toolkit
The firm's core programme, and the first one most Mauritian participants follow. Three days to stop settling things case by case: set a framework, correct without humiliating, delegate for real, and hold the one-to-one that the diary always drops first.

Non-financial motivation levers and team coaching
When your best person gets an offer from Canada or Australia, the raise you can give does not compete. Two days on the levers you really control: autonomy, recognition, visible progress and meaning, adjusted person by person.

Hybrid and remote management
Managing at a distance is not doing the same thing through a screen, and in Mauritius the distance is often in hours before it is in kilometres. One day to set clear rules from the start, write objectives that can be read without you, and keep rituals that do not wear away.
